Lanark County Municipal Trails Sub-Committee

Special Economic Development

The Lanark County Economic Development Committee is holding a public meeting to receive comments on OPA 14, which would expand the McKinnon Pit and rezone 5.8ha from Rural to Licensed Aggregate Extraction Operation. The expansion would increase the total extraction area to 28.1ha and raise the Class A license limit from 150,000 to 250,000 tonnes per year. The committee will receive written and oral submissions; a recommendation report is expected in October.

Land Division
