Committee to vote on draft approval for Mill Run Extension Phase 7 & 8 subdivision
The Economic Development Committee will review two subdivision applications for draft approval: Mill Run Extension Phase 7 & 8 in Mississippi Mills and the Matheson & Rosedale subdivision in Montague. The body will also direct staff to draft a by-law designating the K&P Trail as a Wilderness Trail and an interim management plan. Natural Heritage System Working Group
Présentation du résumé de l'atelier de visionnement et du plan de communication pour la Stratégie du système de patrimoine naturel
Le Groupe de travail recevra une présentation sur le résumé des contributions de l'atelier de visionnement du 27 mai et discutera du plan de communication pour la Stratégie du système de patrimoine naturel. Le groupe approuvera également le procès-verbal de la réunion précédente et adoptera l'ordre du jour. Un outil d'engagement précoce pour recueillir les commentaires de la communauté sera en ligne du 29 juin au 31 juillet.

Le Conseil allouera 2,496 M$ aux programmes de prévention de l'itinérance
Le conseil de comté votera sur le Plan d'investissement du programme de prévention de l'itinérance 2026-27, allouant 2 496 000 $ de financement provincial réparti entre les refuges d'urgence, le logement de soutien, la sensibilisation et l'aide au logement. L'ordre du jour comprend également l'approbation des états financiers audités de 2025 et un règlement municipal pour un accord relatif au programme de réponse médicale par paliers. D'autres points incluent des nominations au sein du Business Retention and Expansion Core Working Group ainsi que l'approbation de routine de rapports et de procès-verbaux de comités.
- Financement du Homlessness Prevention Program (HPP) de 2 496 000 $ réparti entre les refuges d'urgence (200 000 $), le logement de soutien (830 000 $), la sensibilisation communautaire (801 200 $), l'aide au logement (540 000 $) et l'administration (124 800 $).

Le Comité de développement économique examinera l'approbation de l'initiative Regional Economic Development Through Immigration (REDI), approuvera la modification n° 18 du Plan officiel concernant les ressources de granulats, adoptera un nouveau barème de frais d'utilisation du Service de l'urbanisme prévoyant une période de transition et une autorité de réduction des frais, et accordera l'approbation préliminaire au plan de lotissement Matheson & Rosedale à Montague. Community Services
Le Comté allouera $4.4M pour l'expansion des services de garde à Mississippi Mills et Carleton Place
Le Comité des services communautaires décidera du financement majeur pour l'expansion des services de garde : jusqu'à $3,293,137 pour Mississippi Mills (78 nouvelles places) et un total de $1,058,255 pour Carleton Place (48 places en services de garde plus des places pour la maternelle et l'âge scolaire). Le comité envisagera également la création d'un programme de loisirs pour les jeunes financé par les revenus du tournoi de golf du Préfet avec une possible contribution du Comté allant jusqu'à $50,000, et autorisera un accord de gestion de flotte pour la Lanark County Housing Corporation. Un rapport sur le logement et l'itinérance en 2025 sera reçu pour information.
- $3,293,137 allocation du Fonds d'infrastructure Canada-Ontario ELCC à Mississippi Mills pour 78 nouvelles places en services de garde

Le groupe de travail sur le système du patrimoine naturel du comté de Lanark tiendra un atelier de vision présenté par North South Environmental Consultants. Le Comité des services communautaires examinera l'approbation du plan d'investissement 2026-27 de l'Initiative Canada-Ontario en matière de logement communautaire et de l'Initiative sur les priorités en matière de logement de l'Ontario, allouant 915 400 $ pour la construction de nouveaux logements et 238 500 $ pour l'aide au loyer et la réhabilitation. Le Groupe de travail sur les relations gouvernementales discute et sélectionne les thèmes proposés pour la conférence 2026 de l'Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO). Quatre propositions sont à l'étude, chacune demandant un financement ou un soutien provincial supplémentaire sur des enjeux comprenant les besoins complexes en soins de longue durée, les coûts de sécurité des tribunaux, les lits de niveaux de soins alternatifs et le triage secondaire pour les appels des paramédics. Audition publique pour trois demandes de division de terrain
Le Comité de division des terres tiendra une audition publique pour trois nouvelles demandes de consentement : un nouveau lot sur Bolingbroke Road dans le canton de Tay Valley, un ajout de lot sur Drummond Concession 2 dans le canton de Drummond/North Elmsley, et un ajout de lot sur Avenue 4A dans le canton de Beckwith. Lanark County Municipal Trails Sub-Committee
Le sous-comité des sentiers du comté de Lanark examine un accord avec l'OFTR
Le sous-comité des sentiers municipaux du comté de Lanark examinera un rapport du personnel concernant un éventuel accord d'utilisation avec l'Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR). Le personnel recommande de ne prendre aucune mesure pour le moment et de réexaminer la proposition en 2027, lorsque le sentier K&P passera sous la gestion du comté. La réunion portera également sur les plans d'entretien printaniers et estivaux pour l'Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail, le Conboy Trail et le Tay Havelock Trail, ainsi que sur des mises à jour concernant la promotion du tourisme et les impacts du train à grande vitesse.
- Rapport du personnel sur un éventuel accord d'utilisation avec l'Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR), notant que le groupe détient une assurance responsabilité civile de 15 millions de dollars
- Mise à jour du sentier K&P : le comté demande une prolongation de 90 jours pour la diligence raisonnable relative au titre et à l'arpentage avant l'acquisition
- Plans d'entretien printaniers et estivaux pour l'Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail, le Conboy Trail et le Tay Havelock Trail

Le Groupe de travail sur les relations gouvernementales examinera et devrait approuver un projet de motion ainsi qu'une liste de priorités de consultation pour le projet ferroviaire à grande vitesse ALTO. La motion établit des principes directeurs et une liste de 27 priorités spécifiques couvrant les routes, le drainage, l'urbanisme, les services d'urgence et les questions financières. Le groupe a également des points à l'ordre du jour concernant les soumissions de la délégation de l'AMO et une mise à jour sur la suite de réception.
