Lyn Bandshell Ad Hoc Committee

The Lyn Bandshell Ad Hoc Committee will meet primarily to adopt previous minutes and discuss fundraising and staff updates. At the May 13 meeting, the committee recommended ordering bricks (no blank bricks) and adding a plaque near the bricks. Construction is underway; the foundation has been poured and eight loads of gravel were used. Total funds collected to date are $59,264.39, including $3,775 for bricks.

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is holding a public meeting and open house to consider a proposed zoning by-law amendment for a correctional facility at 1804 County Road 2. The amendment would reduce the required parking from 812 to 606 spaces and allow a driveway up to 16 metres wide. The property is owned by the Ontario Minister of Infrastructure.
