The Town of Fort Frances is holding a public meeting to hear comments on proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments for the redevelopment of the former Shevlin Wood Yard. The plan would rezone the property from Future Development to Mixed Use and Open Space, allowing residential and commercial uses. A Holding Zone is proposed pending a Record of Site Condition. A specific exception for Lot 1 would allow building heights up to 20m and enclosed outdoor storage in the front yard.
