The integrity commissioner has advised that I have a limited restriction with respect to my participation in council's debate on item 5.1.1, fair grounds visioning exercise final report, its attachments and related delegations. I have a deemed indirect interest in today's debate on the basis that my in-laws home is located near the blue cross-hatched area indicated at the top left and top right of zone one of the conceptual diagram set out in the CAO's and the consultant's reports. My interest is limited to site-specific matters which may be raised respecting those areas of zone one. that otherwise my pecuniary interest I might have in the report and today's debate is subject to the interest in common exception set out in paragraph 4 of the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act. Therefore, if we are discussing that particular section of the fairgrounds, I will have to recuse myself. I will be able to fully participate in the conversation. Thank you very much, Councillor.
