Council to decide on roads conversion, speed reduction, and by-laws
Council will hear a delegation from residents opposing plans to revert Lynch Road and Labarge Road to gravel. Councillor Valiquette's motion proposes a hold on conversions, purchase of traffic counting equipment up to $15,000, and development of an assessment tool. Other items include a speed reduction request for Lingham Lake Road, adoption of bylaws for wage scale, HR policy, and borrowing for capital works, and a request to designate Taste of Tweed as a municipally significant event.
