Regular Council Meeting

Council approved the 2026-2029 City of Spruce Grove Strategic Plan. Third reading of the City Centre Tax Incentive Bylaw was also passed. Second reading of the Westwind Mixed Use Direct Control District passed 4-2, but third reading was deferred pending an Area Structure Plan amendment. A collective bargaining mandate for the fire fighters' union was approved, and Braden Lanctot was appointed to the Assessment Review Board.

Regular Council Meeting
Council held a public hearing and unanimously approved second and third readings of a land use bylaw amendment to redistrict Fenwyck Stage 11. They also gave first reading to several other bylaws, including changes to door-to-door sales licensing (passed 6-1), secondary suites, development fees, and residential densities with area structure plans. Council authorized $4,050 for city centre plant replacement, directed cleanup of Pioneer Cemetery, allocated $10,000 to a hockey tournament, and approved a public art mural from closed session.
