Council to develop new campground operator process, consider ball park fees
The Council will direct staff to create a competitive procurement process for a new operator of the Kaslo Municipal Campground starting in 2028. They will also consider establishing cost recovery fees for Murray Pearson Memorial Ball Park for KBSA youth, adult, non-profit, and commercial use, with phased implementation over 2027–2029. The consent agenda includes adoption of the Elections Procedure Bylaw No. 1337, several grant awards, and authorization for the Kaslo Golf Club to construct a storage building with tree removal and replacement.

Council to adopt fees & charges bylaw, debate lease policy, and approve Pride events
Council will consider adopting the Fees & Charges Amendment Bylaw No. 1336, which would update municipal fees. Staff will be directed to develop a lease policy for Village land and buildings. Council will vote on requests for the 2026 Kaslo Pride Celebration, including a rainbow crosswalk at Front and Fourth Streets, raising the Progress Pride Flag, and providing $146.41 in financial assistance. The council will also review 2026-2027 municipal objectives.
