Council to vote on new temporary overnight shelter regulations
Council will decide on approving the 2025 Annual Municipal Report, adopt several bylaws including sign regulations and a housing agreement, consider zoning amendments for density and building heights, a rezoning for 1475 Hugh Allan Drive, and a development variance for Thompson Drive. They will also consider supporting a liquor licence hours change for Night Shift on 5th, an ALR application for Yellowhead Highway, a tax exemption for airport development, and a joint climate adaptation application with Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc. Additionally, they will vote on new temporary overnight sheltering regulations by amending parks and fees bylaws.
