Airport Advisory
Airport Advisory Committee recommandera de continuer la location des terrains plutôt que la vente
Le Airport Advisory Committee se réunit pour examiner les mises à jour opérationnelles et un plan conceptuel révisé pour l'aéroport CYZU. L'organisme recommandera que le comté continue de louer les terrains de l'aéroport plutôt que de les vendre jusqu'à ce qu'un Master Plan complet soit achevé. Ils examineront également les modifications proposées au règlement d'utilisation des terres concernant les reculs.

Economic Development Committee
Le comité examine la commercialisation du site industriel lourd et la stratégie de développement économique.
Le Comité de développement économique examinera une mise à jour sur la sélection et la commercialisation de sites industriels lourds de Goodeve & Associates. Les membres discuteront également de l'orientation stratégique pour le développement économique, y compris l'alignement du recrutement et les mises à jour du mandat du comité. De plus, le comité approuvera la participation à des conférences pour les membres du personnel et recevra un rapport d'information sur le West Coast Oil Pipeline. Plusieurs études de préparation aux investissements et d'attraction seront examinées à huis clos.

Le comité examinera et restructurera le Programme d'avantages pour les personnes âgées, à faible revenu et handicapées
Le Comité des services communautaires discutera et recommandera des modifications à la politique CS.R-1.001 Programme d'avantages, qui offre actuellement un rabais sur la taxe foncière, un financement du transport pour soins de santé et des drapeaux de neige gratuits. L'administration envisage de les regrouper en un seul crédit flexible jusqu'à 600 $ par résident admissible, et d'ajouter le contrôle de la poussière comme avantage. Le comité compilera des points de discussion et présentera une version révisée lors d'une réunion future.
