Council authorizes purchase of four new ambulances and stretchers for 2027
Perth County Council approved a capital project to tender for four replacement ambulances and four Stryker Power Cot stretchers to be delivered in 2027. The council also adopted the 2026 tax ratios matching 2025 rates for all property classes and approved the write‑off of 16 provincial offences fines totaling $43,869.85. Two construction tenders were awarded to Brantco Construction for work on Perth Road 130 & 135 and Perth Line 43.

Ontario announces over $2 million investment to improve accessibility
The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee will receive several correspondence items, including Ontario’s $2 million accessibility investment, a provincial dementia‑care initiative, and an Olympics accessibility strategy.
