Agricultural Service Board

The Wheatland County Agricultural Service Board is meeting to discuss agricultural and environmental matters. They will hear presentations from the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance and SYLVIS, and consider new business including the ALUS partnership, farm awards, and a rental program item. Regular Council

Wheatland County Council is meeting to consider a public hearing and readings for Bylaw 2022-32, which would redesignate land from Industrial General to Commercial Highway. They will also receive an update from the RCMP and review various departmental reports and correspondence.

Council moved a land redesignation bylaw through second and third readings to change a specific unit from Industrial General to Commercial Highway District.
