Regional Council Meeting
Durham Regional Council is meeting to consider two motions: one requesting the Province of Ontario temporarily remove tolls on Highway 407 in Durham Region, and another asking the province to undertake a social and economic prosperity review with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. Council will also vote on a by-law to expropriate land in Clarington for the Liberty Street (Regional Road 14) road rehabilitation project from Longworth Avenue to Concession Road 3.
